We're Satisfied When You're Satisfied

Here is what our guests at Alpenglow Ranch have to say:

This was our third visit and it won't be the last.

Went to The Chicks concert and stayed at Alpenglow for a couple of nights. What a great time we had. Host were great as usual and the nude breakfasts on the deck overlooking the mountains were magical. Can't wait for the Hayden Amphitheater to put out their schedule for next year so we can come back. Terra August 2022

The first of MANY visits!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we wish we had booked a longer one. We love clothing optional and with an amazing pool and mountain views we were in heaven!
There’s a fun slide, two hot tubs and a fire pit for great evening conversation.
Breakfast was a treat every morning, amazing dishes every day.
On their spacious grounds is frisbee golf and a pickle ball court. The hosts we kind enough to give a lesson and play with us. It was a blast!
We can’t say enough good about this “one of a kind” stay and the hosts, we’ll be back soon. Cindy July 2022

Purely Magical

It hands down the best vacation we have ever had.
Upon arrival we were given a complete tour of the guest area's. Our room was so comfy and cozy.
Our hosts are fantastic people. They provide an awesome breakfast everyday....eggs from their chickens.
The hot tub off the common guest area had a jaw dropping view of the 3 Sisters volcano's There were several thunder storms that rolled through providing such beauty.
There is a pool with a slide and an infinity edge. I can't put into words how amazing the entire experience was.
We enjoyed the company of 2 Golden Retrievers and a cat who loved to talk.
The location is remote and very quiet.
We enjoyed visiting with the other couple that was there over the weekend.
My passion for armature photography was fulling indulged by the stunning surroundings.
Thank you so much for making this so special. Red July 2022

Absolutely wonderful!

From the view to the home to the pool to the hosts, all were absolutely wonderful! We spent 3 days enjoying all this amazing place has to offer and plan to return to enjoy it again. The breakfasts were amazing and the conversation with the hosts was always engaging. We have stayed at many clothing optional locations around the country, this is certainly one of the best, we highly recommend it. Dan July 2021

Paradise for a weekend

What a wonderful weekend at an amazing place for our first clothing optional stay. Our hosts made it very special and made it so comfortable and relaxing for the entire weekend. We had two incredible breakfasts that they made gluten free for us. During the day we explored a few trails looking at incredible views on opposite ends of the property and tried pickelball for the first time. Now I am hooked and looking for a pickleball set. We probably spent most of our time in their infinity pool soaking, floating, relaxing in the shade and multiple trips down the water slide. In the evening we sat around the large fire pit chatting and ended the day in one of the two hot tubs. The upper one has a 180 degree view of the skyline with a perfect view of the stars. We had a great room that was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. We couldn’t imagine a better place to stay. The only bad thing was that we had to leave our short term paradise and return to reality. Gator July 2021

Pure Heaven!

There are no words to really describe Alpenglo.
The hosts are over the top Amazing. Gourmet breakfast (Amazing) the view is just stunning. Go on a great hike and come back shower off with the outdoor shower and jump in that Awesome infinity pool and water slide, then soak in either of the 2 hot tubs. There are many sports that you can do here, pickle ball, disk golf, also a golf driving area. Once you are there you just don't want to leave. Matter fact while we were there we booked our next visit for August. Denise June 2021

Amazing

We just got back from a 3 night stay at Aplenglow Ranch. What a beautiful property, it's hard to believe all the activities this place has. Besides the pool and waterslide they have disc golf, a driving range and lots of places to stroll to and then sit and just enjoy the quiet. The breafasts are wonderful but it is really the hosts that make this place really special. Try it, you won't be disappointed. Jay June 2021

Divine Weekend Getaway with entertainment and plenty of R n' R opportunitites!

What a truly divine weekend we just experienced at Alpenglow Ranch. This was our first weekend getaway together in our new relationship, my boyfriend being very new to clothing-optional activities and I myself new to a getaway experience like this.

We were warmly greeted by the hosts Golden Retriever dog who checked-in on us often when outdoors and greeted us every morning with a happy puppy grin. We were then greeted by one of the hosts who invited us inside their split-level home (they greet you fully clothed so not to make it awkward at first initial greeting) and as we crested the top stair to their living room – oh my! the view was so BREATHTAKING. The Three Sisters and Broken Top mountains were shining with sparkles of the sun, extending the warm welcome from their living room windows which was also the view from our bedroom, the hot tub and well pretty much anywhere you went on property. After getting checked-in and a tour of the home and the grounds, we settled into the clothing optional mode and only dressed while playing Disc Golf outside or when we went to town for a brief moment. Although, if you wanted to be completely naked the entire time, you most certainty could and very comfortably as they’re closest neighbors were never seen or heard. They provide you with towels for sitting on furniture, bathing, lounging poolside and for the hot tub. We brought along our bathrobes which were the only clothing we had on inside the house at times. The waterfall at the poolside provides for an even more zen-like relaxation. At one point, I realized, “It doesn’t matter what tomorrow brings, I’m in the moment of serenity today.” The homecooked breakfasts made for us were scrumptious and full of entertaining conversations with the delightful hosts. We enjoyed an evening of games and dessert with the hosts as well. We weren’t quite certain what to do for dinners, as we really didn’t want to go into town – it’s literally so peaceful you don’t want to leave! We did run in for our first night and then grabbed daytime snacks and beverages, along with a pizza for the second night as they provided a little mini fridge and permission to use their oven. I almost forgot to mention the massage chair! Once you sit in this, you’ll want to purchase one and let-go of your massage therapist! I highly recommend the Auto + heat mode while my boyfriend enjoyed the Yoga mode. It was fun to walk through the garden with one of the hosts, who shared their current project of topping the cages which actually gave me a brilliant idea for my own gardening needs!
I can’t write enough about the experience we had here. It was such a pleasant surprise and provided more than I believe either of us expected. If you want to explore a clothing-optional vacation with waterfalls while sunbathing, birds chirping in the morning, a view of the mountains all the time, delicious food and company Alpenglow Ranch is waiting for you! Beautiful

We enjoyed two nights at Alpenglow and our hosts and other guests were absolutely lovely.. breakfast was yummy and the company even better. We had our RV parked in a lovely spot and enjoyed the chickens and bunnies as well. Carrie September 2020

Great relaxing vacation!

This was a great place to spend a vacation at. My wife and I went just to get away for a while in July, and while this is only her second time being completely naked, she had a very nice time. She was slightly nervous at first, but the hosts made us feel right at home and after that first day it was no big deal anymore. We can say the water slide is a MUST! We had so much fun on it during the day, but the real treat is doing it at night. We met another couple staying there during our time as well and it was so much fun to learn about them. We usually ended our day with sitting around the large fire pit after the sun went down talking with the other guests and the Hosts. We just talked about different things and one night we got really lucky as one of the Hosts got their guitar out and played some great hits for us! If you're looking for great clothing optional place to spend a little time, we highly recommend this fantastic spot. In fact we only reserved our room for 3 nights, but we got lucky and we were able to add on another night because we were having so much fun! Couple from Boise, ID August 2020

Memorable 1st year Anniversary

This was the perfect relaxing getaway for my husband and I on our 1 year anniversary. The property is very private and peaceful. We took morning walks and explored the property. There are breath taking views of the mountains and breakfast every morning was delicious! We enjoyed swimming and relaxing by the pool. Not to mention the waterslide is an absolute treat! My husband and I liked to end our days soaking in the hot tub on the back deck that has a fabulous view of the mountains. Overall this was such a wonderful experience and the hosts were exceptional. It was such a pleasure staying in their home. It was such a comfortable experience I could say it felt like staying with family. Highly recommended for a first time clothing optional experience.

Saved my marriage

First I have to say, this trip was our 10 year anniversary of which was planned my my husband. Planned back in January I was so not down to go to a clothing optional BNB. I’ve never liked my body nor did I want to share it with anyone.

Folks, as a couple who came close to separating, this resort COMPLETELY flipped our world up side down, in a very positive way.

What struck me first was that in no way was any of it sexual. Yes, it was very romantic to be with my husband in a very intimate way, but the vibe of the whole ranch was relaxation which is exactly what we needed.

I had the most amazing time! Frisbee golf was so fun! Watching the host couple and visiting couple play pickle ball was great to watch. We walked the ranch, relaxed a lot by the pool and enjoyed the beautiful sunset in the hot tub. The host’s were incredibly amazing and they cooked the most creative and delicious breakfast.

God created us in all shapes and sizes and there was no shame. I felt no shame! I have never been more comfortable with my body in my entire life. Believe me, I had many walls that needed to come down. They needed to come down for my marriage to thrive. The ranch made it possible by being completely vulnerable.

I encourage every couple who are struggling or just need a place to unwind, please visit Alpenglow. I was definitely not disappointed!Lara July 2020

Exactly as advertised and wonderful hosts

My wife and I parked our rented 24' RV on our host's property to the most incredible view of the Three Sisters you'll find in the area (and there are plenty). The breakfast was really special too. I don't eat grains generally but couldn't resist the homemade sourdough toast and jams. The grounds are beautiful... pool hot tubs and of course PICKLE BALL (challenge the hosts, they are good). If this is the CO getaway you are looking for, you won't be disappointed at all. Rob June 2020

We are addicted to this place!

This has to be the most beautiful bed and breakfast anywhere. We went for the first time this past weekend and spent two wonderful nights and three days. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were a part of the family. We had two of the best breakfasts I've ever had and there was no shortage of food for sure. The view from the pool is just amazing. We walked the property and found more beautiful views. There were two hot tubs and we used both. They have disc golf, pickleball, a driving range, a large outdoor kitchen right by the pool and the proterty is maintained perfectly. The hosts made us feel like we were visiting family. I am so glad we found this place. I would definiately recommend a trip here to anyone looking for a relaxing and very comfortable stay. Alaxander June 2020

Perfect getaway during Covid-19

It is a great place, very secluded and private, beautiful view and set up around pool and fire pit area. Wonderful breakfast and felt like a part of host's favorite family. Even played pickle ball with our hosts. Got great recommendation for hiking and for lunch place in Bend. Jim May 2020

Amazing Scenery!!!

Such an awesome weekend...already planning our next trip! This visit was during winter and there was quite a bit of snow on the ground. It is a winter wonderland!!! Picturesque views of the mountains (10 mountain peaks on a clear day). The hot tub and the massage chair were extremely relaxing. Visited a local winery and had dinner with our hosts at a very nice restaurant along the Deschutes River and we thoroughly enjoyed their company and their hospitality. Breakfast was awesome...made from their very own homegrown fruits and vegetables and eggs from their chickens. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The wood stove kept us toasty after coming in from enjoying the hot tub in the snow. We are looking forward to our summer visit when we will be able to enjoy the infinity pool and explore the property. Pat December 2019

We love Alpenglow Ranch!

We absolutely loved our stay at Alpenglow Ranch! Such a unique place to enjoy nature, naturally! The hosts are very friendly and accomodating. The infinity pool is beautiful with a view overlooking forest and mountains... Two different hot-tubs to choose from, and a waterslide! The property is very quiet and peaceful... It feels isolated, even though you are only a short drive to Bend. You can comforably stroll the property, or hang in their home in whatever level of undress you choose.

The food was wonderful too! Freshly made bread, fresh eggs from their coop, fresh veggies from the garden... All served with a smile and friendly conversation.

The hosts even arranged for a nude yoga class by the pool, and massage under the trees. Our only mistake was waiting until our last morning to play pickleball! So fun! Start early!

Alpenglow Ranch is one of our favorite nudist friendly spots, and we definitely intend to return for another fun and relaxing vacation! Mae November 2019

Great Second Stay!

We really enjoyed returning to this heavenly place for my Husband's Birthday! He got to go down the water slide on his birthday! We had such a fun day and even went on a beautiful walk to look at their property with our gracious host. I spent a lot of time in their infinity pool, just chilling and enjoying the Beautiful mountain view, what beauty! We also ate some awesome home-cooked breakfast and her tasty homemade sourdough bread and great views of the mountain range out their dining room window. And they even decorated for his birthday breakfast! Her garden is so beautiful and the chickens and rabbits. Our hosts made this return trip really memorable for us and this truly is Heaven! Thanks again you two! Sally September 2019

You’ll never want to leave. It’s beautiful.

Alpenglow Ranch is all sorts of fun. They have rabbits and chickens (a big plus for me, I love animals), a water slide, pool, two hot tubs, a waterfall, beautiful mountain views, hiking trails, disc golf, a full body massage chair, a full body massage person who comes to their B and B. And of course, great food—made with their fresh eggs, and freshly baked sourdough made with flour ground on-site. (The inn keepers have the same grain mill that I do—top notch). And best of all, they’re naturists; not creeps. You will feel completely at ease in any state of dress or undress here. They strictly enforce ‘no ogling’ and ‘no creeps’ rules. I’ve been there Memorial Day Weekend two years in a row now and it’s awesome every time. Love this place, and the inn keepers, they’re wonderful. Mina September 2019

Very relaxing, and a beautiful view!

Our hosts could not have been nicer. A wonderful pool, deck, and hot tub with a very nice mountain view. We were just a few miles from downtown Bend and Sisters, OR with plenty to do nearby. No sound of traffic was to be heard, and the ability to take short hikes nude on the property was delightful.

Resident dogs and cats to keep us entertained added to the fun. We had lots of time to relax in the sun, play in the pool and hot tub, and had the chance to enjoy meeting others staying there at the same time. There is something about nudists, they are so easy to chat with.

The nicest thing was that there are not too many guests at once. This made it feel as if it were our own private place to enjoy!

If anyone were to be new to nude recreation, and a bit unsure, then this is the place to try it out! We will be back! JOn August 2019

Heaven!

My husband and I were both very happy to feel welcome here.. to be in our own skin and be around our hosts doing the same thing, just being natural and feeling like it was really okay to be with new friends who we really appreciate our views on being okay with nudity! We really appreciate them and have made reservations to stay again next year!! Thanks for helping us to know how to experience this awesome thing, we are very grateful! Sally August 2018

A Stunning Paradise !

My husband and I went on this clothing optional getaway on a whim to celebrate our anniversary. I was apprehensive at first really not knowing what to expect. I am conservative by nature but am always up for a bit of spontaneity so I was hoping that this choice would end up being relaxing and not taxing ! Our two nights at the Alpenglow Ranch was nothing short of amazing. The hosts were awesome! Very warm, friendly, homey and fun to be around. They truly made you feel at home there. The views were stunning ! You had visibility of some of Oregon’s beautiful mountain peaks from the hot tub on the deck and from the beautiful living room glass windows. The swimming pool was warm and the water slide was a highlight. My husband had a really fun time trying to slide down as fast as he could. We played pickleball ( a little competitive, hahaha ) and disc golf. We made friends with the other couple and ate dinner together. We enjoyed the privacy and serenity of the property. As advertised, the property was clothing optional and so I felt comfortable going at my own pace. The hosts were gracious, accommodating and understanding and made us feel comfortable and at home from the time we reached their property. The book on understanding social nudity was very enlightening and made me comfortable with my choices. Also, not to forget the breakfast each morning was simply amazing. The two of us found this to be one of our very best getaways ( and we have had a few !!) and one of the most relaxing and laid back. We are so looking forward to returning soon, to this wonderful home and enjoying the ambience, beauty and friendship that we have cultivated with these wonderful hosts. Michelle July 2019

Amazing, Relaxing 3 Nights

My wife and I went on our first vacation together since we got married 5 years ago. We called this our Honeymoon and the first 3 nights of it were at the Alpenglow Ranch. This was the highlight of our trip. The hosts were amazing! Very warm, friendly, and fun to be around. They truly made you feel at home there. The views are beautiful, from the sunsets in the hot tub on the deck to doing yoga on the swimming pool deck and watching the sun come up over the trees, it couldn't have been better. The slide and the pool were a blast, we loved relaxing and playing in the pool in the afternoon. Hiking around the property, we saw deer grazing and watching us and we always felt very private. Upon our arrival, we received a wonderful tour of the property and introductions: chickens, dogs, rabbits, a lovely cat, several gardens, disk golf course, and pickleball court. The farm fresh eggs and produce made the breakfasts absolutely lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Heath July 2019

Central Oregon Gem

My wife and I visited Alpenglow Ranch as part of our anniversary weekend. Our hosts had contacted us about a week before to make sure we knew where they were and coordinate a time for our arrival. They graciously accommodated our check-in request and were there to greet us and show us around their property. As advertised, the entire resort area was clothing optional, and we especially enjoyed the pool, hot tubs, and beautiful views of the Cascade peaks. Breakfasts were provided at the time we requested, and we even collaborated with our hosts to barbecue some steaks for dinner. We enjoyed their company and did not even leave their property during our two night stay. We will definitely return. K & P June 2019

Best 3-day Getaway

My boyfriend and I spent three nights at Alpenglow Ranch and we absolutely loved it. We had originally planned to stay only two nights, but couldn't stand to leave so soon. Our hosts were so nice and flexible, and we were able to tack on an additional night to our stay. My three favorite things about Alpenglow were the privacy, the views (stunning!), and the pool. We spent two days soaking up the sun and solitude. There is no doubt in my mind that we will be back! Poly May 2019

The Perfect Honeymoon

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Alpenglow Ranch for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Cascade room with a beautiful view. Everywhere you go on the property you have a beautiful view. It was the perfect balance of privacy and the freedom to get to know the hosts. We loved spending time with the hosts and even had a game night with some of their nudist friends and learned a fun new game. Their dogs are very well behaved and a great addition to the homy feel of the property. We played pickle ball for hours and loved taking advantage of everything they had to offer. We can't wait to go back! We walked away feeling like we made new friends. Kathy January 2019

My partner and I just returned from the most amazing long weekend spent at Alpenglow Ranch. This was our first Clothing Optional vacation, and our hosts couldn't have possibly made us feel any more comfortable. After the first 15 minutes, I didn't even realize I wasn't wearing a stitch of clothing. For anyone contemplating their first clothing optional escape, Alpenglow is the best choice out there. And seasoned nudists will find themselves completely at home. Also, as for the hosts, they were positively lovely, great conversationalists, and very accommodating. We were lucky to have many wonderful conversations with them, ranging from the humorous to the deeper aspects of life and the world. Their two dogs provided much entertainment as well, and I would go back again just simply to play fetch and cuddle with them! However, we will be returning for many more reasons than their awesome furry children. After being by the pool for an hour, my partner and I both looked at ourselves and said at the same time "I dont think I've ever been this relaxed." Beautiful views from the pool and the hot tub. Watching the sunset from one of their two hot tubs over the Three Sisters mountains is something I will not soon forget. Night time fire pit sessions with live music from our talented host was truly the icing on the proverbial cake after a long, luxurious day in the sun. The breakfasts were spectacular, and I am extremely grateful for their careful consideration of my egg allergy. Also, AWESOME coffee! We chose to use their poolside grill to make dinner for two of the nights, then eat outside in complete serene peace. However, while this Ranch is huge (51 acres! So much exploring!) you can also get to the wicked fun city of Bend by a very short drive. So all in all, this vacation offered something for everyone. Peace, relaxation, fun, nature and modern accommodations (can I please say how wonderful free wifi is? Haha.) We will most assuredly be returning here, hopefully soon! February 2019

"Our first clothing optional recreation experience was kinda a big deal for us, after 33 year of marriage. Our hosts at Alpenglow made us feel comfortable and accepted. The breakfast was amazing. Overall, we can’t believe it took us so long to finally experience our first clothing optional vacation. Can’t wait to go back! The home is perfect for the experience and the property is beautiful!" – Ken from Oregon August 2018

"We enjoyed a wonderful vacation at Alpenglow Ranch for a couple of days of relaxing and playing in the pool. Our hosts were very good and they took care of our every need. There were wonderful breakfasts every day and they made sure we had everything we needed. We also spent time walking around the 51 acres and Frisbee course and pickleball court. The time just flew by and we are already planning our next trip. Thanks for everything! D&C." – David from Washington August 2018

"Our time at Alpenglow Ranch was amazing. I cannot wait to return. This was our first time at a CO resort. My husband was so excited. I was skeptical, but decided to give it a try. From the moment we were greeted upon arrival, until the moment we left I felt comfortable and relaxed. All of my skepticism was was alleviated. The hosts were so gracious, kind and social but yet also let us have our own private time. The grounds are immaculate, from the pickle ball court to the pool to the hot tub, everything is pristine. Breakfast was delicious. We loved the many amenities including pickle ball, disc golf, viewing the animals, the pool, waterslide and hot tub. We have 2 young boys at home and staying here for 2 nights was the most relaxing time we have had in 5 years. We look forward to our next visit where we can hopefully stay for longer!" – Jessica from Oregon July 2018

"We spent three nights here and we wish we would have stayed a whole lot more. We could not recommend this place more highly. Lovely grounds, 51 acres of beautiful forest and views. Great amenities, phenomenal pool, slide, sunning deck complex, 9 hole Disc Golf Course, Pickle-ball court and everything you would need to enjoy. The most impressive thing about this place are the wonderful hosts. They were so accommodating and made us feel like family. If you haven’t gone there, you should." – Michael from Washington July 2018

"The definition of Paradise: A place of great beauty or happiness. A state of delight or happiness. Alpenglow is a modern vision of paradise. Pools, slides, hot tubes, pickleball, golden retrievers, a great morning breakfast, mountain setting all served up by the two greatest host in the world. A real life, Garden of Eden." – Bill from Indiana July 2018

"Of all the places my wife and I have traveled, Alpenglow Ranch turned out to be one of the most wonderful and peaceful of all of them. Our terrific hosts welcomed us into their sanctuary home and surrounding gorgeous property as though we were already family. We never left the Ranch even though Bend and its energy were just down the hill; the quiet, the spectacular views of the Cascade peaks and sunsets, the lure of the pool and the company of our hosts entranced us. Just being there was enough. The only drawback: we stayed for just two nights, when a week wouldn’t be enough! If you’re ever anywhere near Bend — and by that, I mean anywhere in Oregon — don’t hesitate to make your way to this oasis. Being naked never felt better!" – Tom from California June 2018

Great views from extensive property, stimulating conversation during gourmet breakfast, large outdoor pool w/large slide and hotub, 9 hole disc golf, pickle ball court and secluded serenity. The hosts are both highly entertaining, and fun to discuss various topics of the day, but are more than willing to let you do your own thing. Accommodations are very comfortable, with lots of details that guests will appreciate.

Our wonderful stay began with greetings by Baily and Cooper (the resident friendly Labradors) who wanted us to throw a ball for them (training us from the very beginning)! Then a tour by our gracious hosts who besides being excellent conversationalists are amazing chefs! Our breakfast each morning was homemade from scratch and absolutely delicious. Each room had beautiful views. The initial view entering the home is breathtaking! The common room was inviting and led out to a deck with a hot-tub that could be accessed 24 hours a day. Even the view from the hot tub was magnificent! Our stay also included on-site activities; swimming and sliding, a 2nd hot tub, hiking, pickleball and frisbee golf. And all this was clothing optional, relaxing and private. It really does not get any better than this! We drove home already discussing when we could return for another visit.

I have stayed at many B&Bs around the world, and Alpenglow Ranch is one of only a very few that I'd go out of my way to stay at again. My fiance agrees completely. In fact we can't recall a more restful/peaceful get-away; add to that the spectacular volcano views, perfect hosts who make sure everything runs smoothly (and are fun to talk with), and truly delicious breakfasts (fresh eggs, in gourmet dishes, from the chickens on site; homemade sourdough bread and jams; and more), and you will never want to leave. And true privacy, for those who enjoy the clothing-optional feature, extends over almost the whole property including trails, frisbee golf course, pool with a long slide, 2 hot tubs. We'd planned to spend our daytimes and evenings sightseeing in the nearby Bend area, but ended up doing that only for half days so we could spend more time at Alpenglow!

We went for a weekend getaway close to home. It was February and we got caught in a good 5-6 inch snow storm while there. Let me tell you, hot tubbing while it's snowing is magical. The property is beyond tranquil. I sat out in the hot tub about 11 and star gazed and looked at the moon. There was not a sound but some rustle in the trees. We booked Yoga and a Message. First time for me doing yoga and the instructor was very kind to me. I even fell asleep in the final relaxation stage. The message was equally amazing. Book them same day if you can. The hosts are superb. They made us feel very welcome. They were there for questions and chat if needed, but they give you your space to relax and do your own thing. Coming in from a hot tub session in the snow to a blazing wood stove and comfortable couch kept us very relaxed. I am certainly planning a return trip this summer to take advantage of the pool and water slide.

Alpenglow Ranch is our go to Bed and Breakfast when we travel to Bend. The first time we stayed we fell in love with the the views, hospitality, and relaxed atmosphere -- and each time we return we feel the same way. The area is breathtaking. Trees, space, privacy and those amazing mountains! Whether you are in one of the two hot tubs, in the beautiful infinity pool relaxing or going down the slide, sitting by the fire pit, on the pickle ball court, or waking around there are stunning and amazing views. If the view isn't enough, the hospitality is beyond expectations. Our hosts make sure everything is perfect for your stay. Easy directions to Alpenglow (only 15 minute drive from Bend), warm welcome, absolutely the best breakfast around, warm fire in the downstairs wood stove in the winter, and wonderful conversation. They make you feel so at ease and comfortable. If this is your first or one of many clothing optional stays, you will be pleased with the privacy at Alpenglow. The bottom floor is at your disposal. There are two very clean and comfortable ensuite bedrooms, a large sitting area with a wood stove, TV, Wifi, a refrigerator filled with water, and snacks on the table for your enjoyment. For me Alpenglow Ranch is a place to unwind and enjoy the clothing optional experience. I achieve tranquility when I'm at Alpenglow Ranch. All the day to day headaches and pressures are gone. I feel myself relax once I go through the gate knowing I will have the time of my life and spend it with wonderful people.

Stunning getaway with equally gorgeous views.

My girlfriend and I have been to several nudist resorts and even a few nude BnBs. But while each has their charm (and we'll likely visit again at some point), Alpenglow Ranch retreat takes the cake. We couldn't get enough of the views, the hikes, and the hospitality! Our hosts were kind and such a treat to spend time with. We loved our room, the jacuzzis (YES, PLURAL! One next to the pool, the other overlooking the gorgeous landscape on the patio), and although it was a little too chilly to take advantage of the pool, we did have a wonderful time hiking the area and just hanging out. If you're on the fence, I don't have any words other than to pull the trigger. Just do yourself the favor and go. We'll definitely be back, and we'll definitely bring our friends next time too! We can't wait.

Alpenglow Ranch is our go to Bed and Breakfast when we travel to Bend. The first time we stayed we fell in love with the views, hospitality, and relaxed atmosphere -- and each time we return we feel the same way. We've been looking for a new resort since the Terra Cotta closed. Alpenglow is what we've been looking for. Although they cannot host as many guests, only 2 couples, it's just as relaxing. Our room was great and the grounds are just as great. The view from the pool, or the hot tub on the deck, is wonderful. The water slide for the pool is a lot of fun. The hosts are welcoming, the wine tasting trip was totally unexpected, and mix entertaining and privacy well.  We've stayed at a number of B&B's and the breakfasts are as great as anywhere we've stayed. To top it all off Bend is just a short drive away.

We had a great stay and will be back!  Dave S. Washington State Sept. 2016

"My wife and I have been interested in the clothing optional lifestyle for some time, and we were looking for a good first-time experience in a social setting with other couples. Alpenglow Ranch was the perfect way for us to experience a clothing optional experience for the first time, and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. The hosts are very welcoming and understanding of everyone’s situation. There was absolutely no pressure placed on us and we were able to go at our own pace. We immediately felt at home and were naked the entire time (except for when we left for dinner one night). We had great conversation with the hosts and the other guests, and we enjoyed some much needed quite time amongst ourselves.

The grounds are spacious and beautiful, and there are plenty of ways to enjoy time – lounge by the pool and hot tub while enjoying spectacular mountain views, explore the property, play pickle-ball . . . we even got to collect eggs from the many chickens on the property. We are locals so we did not need to explore Bend, however, the house is very close to the town and the many great adventures that it has to offer. The rooms are very clean and well maintained as well. In the morning you can enjoy great views while having breakfast with the hosts and the other couple. It’s important to note that Alpenglow is an intimate environment shared with the hosts and one other couple. This was great for our first time experience and we found everyone to be very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We left feeling like we had made lifelong friends and we look forward to returning. We are very happy we took the plunge into the clothing optional experience. What a great time!" – Eric from Oregon

We returned to Alpenglow recently and had an even more enjoyable time than our first visit. Summary: If you have not been: Go. If you have been: Go again.

Really, the Resort (calling Alpenglow simply a B&B doesn't do it justice) truly shines its brightest in the summer. The pickleball court, infinity pool, grounds (acres and acres actually), BBQ area, hot tubs and slide are all there ready and waiting.

And, with at most one other guest couple at Alpenglow, there are no queues, sign-up sheets or crowds. Nope, it’s all pretty much your own personal summer retreat and resort.

One summer adventure you can't miss out on is using the Water Park Worthy slide...  I had seen this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pdsu1I_-ECw and  well, I can now confirm it’s all true. Absolutely.

Yet, while daylight slide runs are way fun ... at night when it’s dark out and only the stars twinkle and the recessed pool lights shimmer softly ... using the slide - I absolutely guarantee you will be one of the highlights of an Alpenglow visit. It’s clearly a medal winner in our clothing optional adventures. (And, yes, there is hot tub real close by to warm you up between runs).

Of course:

The rooms and breakfasts all remain stellar.

The opportunities for Bend-area road trips expand in the summer

The hosts coordinate a welcoming orchestra of meals, conversation, tourist recommendations and "Resort" activities .. while also understanding that at times, what is most important are the uninterrupted opportunities to lay in the sun, read a book .. or engage in quiet conversations with just your partner or friends.  L&M from Oregon July 2016 (returning guests)

Remarks:
Locale: The ranch is located about 10 minutes from Bend’s downtown. You might think that this proximity means that it lacks serenity or privacy. You’d be incorrect. It has a gated entrance down a long paved private drive through the pine trees. Look at the photos, when you reach the end of the drive you will see the residence, the pickleball court, the pool area and the stunning world class mountain vistas.

The Guest Rooms: The two guest rooms are downstairs off a separate living area with a large comfortable couch. The downstairs living area, also has a large television – which quite frankly we never watched, because we were busy enjoying the ranch’s other offerings or accepted the hosts’ gracious offer to watch television and share evening refreshments upstairs with them. The downstairs living area also offers a fridge, coffee maker, and some complementary drinks and nibbles. We stayed in the Cascades’ Guest Suite. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean, very quiet, we left the window uncovered at night to watch the stars and benefited from a separate outside entrance which makes the pool area .. just a tad closer. We’ll pick that room again for our return visit.

The Hot Tubs: There is a large “portable” hot tub off the downstairs living area, which offers about a 180 degree and simply fantastic mountain views. There is also a “built-in” hot tub near the pool which became, at least for us, the evening gathering place to share wine, stories, wit and wisdom with the hosts. Both hot tubs, were warm, clean and more than comfortable for four people — and six folks should work just fine as well.

The Pool Area: Take a look at the photos on-line. An infinity edge pool facing ok, I have mentioned it before but here you go again — breathtaking mountain views. Unbelievable. Consider this a challenge to find a better view from a clothing optional pool. You won’t. South, Middle and North Sisters are your only company as privacy reigns supreme. The pool area also has numerous comfortable chairs, lounges and tables available … as well as a water slide. It was a tad cold when we were there, so there is no travelogue at present on the slide. But, yes we will be back soon for that adventure.

Pickleball Court: There is a private pickleball court steps from the front of your residence. If you have not played before the hosts are patient and welcoming coaches and players. If you have played before, they are up to a lively, friendly challenge… all in good spirit and fun.

Breakfast: Large healthy portions, were featured at every meal… a tasty hashbrown crust “breakfast pizza one day, German pancakes with fresh berries the next, and boutique pancakes, eggs and bacon the next. Fruit juice, fresh fruit, and coffee rounded out the morning meals. Simply put, the food was tasty, plentiful and varied. And, well, a portion of the vegetables and all the eggs are from the ranch.

The Hosts: My apologies for waiting so long to mention how wonderful the hosts are. Yes, their home is beautiful. Yes, the hot tubs, pool and pickleball court compliment the unsurpassed views and vistas. But, if there is a reason to visit Alpenglow, its to meet the hosts and spend some time chatting, pondering, contemplating and laughing together with the hosts. They are welcoming — but not intrusive. If you want time by yourself – they get it – and you got it. They understand. If you want suggestions for sidetrips to Bend, those are made with insight and care. For us, our memories of Alpenglow are as much about the people as they are about the place. Whether you are considering your first visit, or contemplating a return one – you are encouraged to do so… and we are confident that wonderful moments and memories await. – L & M from Oregon April 2016

"To say that our 3-day stay at Alpenglow Ranch was GREAT, would be too tame a word in describing our holiday with them. First, we were graciously welcomed by our charming hosts and introduced to their lovely, secluded, peaceful property. Pictures of their home pale in comparison to reality. The privacy of our bedroom and beautiful bathroom were merely the starting point. Our bedroom was on the lower level with its own living room, wide-screen TV, DVD’s galore, two luxe couches with recliners, and fitness equipment (should one be inclined).

But what sets Alpenglow apart from other B&B’s (clothing optional or otherwise) is this:

1. There is a spa immediately just outside the guest living room on a desk. It has a breathtaking view of their acreage (i.e. forest) that hovers in front of the Three Sisters. Watching the sun rise and set showcasing the Sisters while lounging in the spa, gives new meaning to the ultimate relaxation.

2. Not to be outdone, there is ALSO the infinity pool, lounges, fire pit, and (another) spa that is next to a rock waterfall plus a pool custom slide. This whole pool area would make all hotels envious.

3. Pickle-ball! A new court is right next to the infinity pool and gives way to a lot of laughs (especially for us non-pickle ball playing kind of people).

4. This amazing home away from home is a gift to its guests. In addition, we were also surrounded by a lovely garden full of squash, tomatoes, pumpkins, sunflowers, and much more. We walked over to the barn and visited with their chickens, bunnies, a couple of roosters which added even more to the experience.
5. Alert: Foodies! We had breakfast’s you could write home about (or get the recipes for too). A fresh (farm-to-table) morning with eggs, fresh fruit (well, no written description could do the meal(s) justice (yes, it is that good).
6. To round out our very enjoyable experience, we got to meet two additional hosts. And they made us fall in love with Alpenglow Ranch even more. The charming and well-behaved guardians are two goldens, Cooper and Bailey. We’ve never seen such well behaved dogs (okay, family members) – and we couldn’t help seeking them out frequently during our stay.

It makes little sense for me to go on boasting of how much Alpenglow Ranch offers. It is a MUST-VISIT so you can personally enjoy a truly special experience.

RATING: 5 Stars (though a 10 is more like it)

P.S. I’m a super-newbie to clothing optional and ended up surprising myself at the ease and comfort I felt. It has taken me years to just consider it. Oh yes – I should never have waited so long!" – Sally from Portland, Oregon

I just want to say what a fun and relaxing time my husband and I had at Alpenglow Ranch. This was my first clothing optional experience. Our hosts made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I was very tentative going into the weekend and by the time I left I couldn’t wait to return. The setting was beautiful, the accommodations outstanding, and our hosts were the best. It is a great place to unwind, swim in the infinity pool, and sit in the hot tub under the stars. You can even get in a few games of pickle ball, so much fun. I highly recommend Alpenglow Ranch. I know I am coming back. M from Indiana

Our hosts opened their home to us with friendly smiles and welcoming hearts. Their property is gorgeous and has jaw-dropping views of the Three Sisters mountains. This is not just a place to stay, it's an experience, and only ten minutes away from downtown Bend. Activities include an extensive disc golf course, a pickle ball court, a stunning infinity pool, two hot tubs, and best of all, a zig zag slide leading into the pool!

The hosts have some fun breakfast recipes that were delicious and there was such a community feeling as we all got to know each other over a good meal. They have two golden retrievers who are very sweet and well-behaved.

We could not have asked for a better weekend or more gracious and thoughtful hosts. -Amanda and Jason

"Our hosts were superlative, the atmosphere, view, and accommodations superb. We were in Bend to play in a pickle ball tournament and it was an extra special treat to have a court right there on the property on which to practice. There aren’t enough words in the dictionary to really describe the kind of place this is. From sliding down the flume slide into the crystal clear blue waters of the pool, to playing our first game of disc golf and enjoying the food and the company of our hosts, it was just amazing. Not to mention the beds were comfortable, the living room has a big TV, exercise equipment, a massage chair and goodies around. Our host brought coffee to us in the hot tub the first morning and the rest of the time it only got better. We are already making plans to come back and if you go to Bend and want a fabulous, clothing optional experience that will make you not want to ever leave, go to Alpenglow!" – Vivian from Talent, Oregon

"There are many words to describe Alpenglow Ranch! Beautiful, Peaceful & Serene! With so much do to – 51 acres of walking paths, the most beautiful serenity pool (with gorgeous mountain views), disc golf, and if that’s not enough there is a pickle ball court. Outside fireplace, outside bar and grill for lounge time, wonderful hot tub and lovely running stream, and two of the nicest hosts. Our hosts were so wonderful that you kinda forget you’re not best friends. But the best thing about Alpenglowglow Ranch has to be the view the home boasts from just about every window. 7 mountains were easily seen on the weekend we were there, a peaceful view of the lower valley – clouds that you can watch just rolling in. You could be there in any weather and I believe you would enjoy yourself just as much! We will most definitely be going back!" – DJ from Beaverton, Oregon

"Alpenglow is a place of rest and total relaxation. To say that our experience at the Alpenglow Ranch BandB was extraordinary would clearly be an understatement. Although we arrived in the dark of the late evening our hosts were gracious and warm in their reception of us and our two pups. Our hosts call them “kids” and welcome and accommodate them with the same warmth and grace. We were provided with a full and very creative breakfast every morning that always included perfectly cooked bacon. The view from the hot tub is to die for, a clear uninterrupted full view of the Three Sisters and their adjoining mountains to the South and North. We took advantage of the trails on this 51 acre very private paradise with great sights and found the experience to be exhilarating. If trails aren’t your thing, then the pickle ball court will surely capture your interest. It was our first pickle ball experience (a game like tennis and ping pong combined) which we discovered is one of America’s fastest growing sports. The weather was accommodating to a clothing optional experience even in February and the absolute privacy of this facility made the experience comfortable, peaceful and most relaxing. This is a great escape and the hosts felt like good friends." – Marc from Oregon

"This being our first time at a clothing optional place the hosts made us feel very comfortable. There was no pressure at all. They really made us feel at home. We had great second night with great conversation it was really nice. Really looking forward to our next visit." - Bob and Michelle from Oregon January 2015

"We had a wonderful time. Sitting in the hot tub after dark and looking up at all the stars was incredible!!! We are without a doubt coming back this summer!" - John from Washington January 2015

"This was our second visit to Alpenglow Ranch. We came back because it is such an exceptional resort. It is on our way to our winter home in Southern California. Not exactly right on the way, but worth the extra miles to enjoy the Hosts and their wonderful home and property. Now they have added a pickle ball court so it is even more fun. They are quite good, but patient new ball player teachers. So relaxing and with all the acres of privacy surrounding their property you almost feel you are one with nature. the views of the mountains are incredible, the home includes a private area for at the most two couples which is very comfortable and includes WIFI and cable television. We will be back. This is now an annual event for us." - Sheri and Joe from Washington/California (Snow Birds) September 2014

"There are obviously many B-and-B's in the world but not many like this one (Alpenglow in Bend, Oregon). I visited for a November weekend not knowing what to expect as the pool and slide were closed for the winter. What a wonderful surprise - it is not the pool or the facilities that makes this place great but the hosts. Nestled in the mountains of the Oregon Cascades, this picturesque B-and-B can best be described by the Saturday morning at the resort. As I was having my morning coffee in the hot tub overlooking the Three Sisters Mountains, an eagle flew overhead about 30 feet above me. It was so quite you could literally hear the wind under the bird’s wings. As it flew overhead it was as if it was saying to me - capture the moment and all the love and joy that is at this place. What a fantastic place but even more fantastic B-and-B hosts. From one of the best morning breakfast I have ever had to three pickleball games with them (she is very good), to sharing a bottle of wine Saturday night and the lost art of conversation, this was a weekend to remember. Can't wait to return. Concerning the clothing optional, I call that icing on the cake as I would return even if it was not. But a nude walk with one of their golden retrievers before breakfast in the clear Northwest air is as good it gets. Thank you for a wonderful two days." - Bill from Indiana

"We had a lovely time at Alpenglow! Planning to return next summer, with friends! The hosts are amazing - wonderful breakfast with breathtaking view. The pool...oh my...no need to go elsewhere! I'm practicing up on my pickle ball for next summer!" - Pat from Oregon

"Absolutely beautiful place. Along with wonderful facilities and gracious hosts, youll enjoy spacious privacy and nearness to nature, all remarkably close to the comforts of town." - John from Washington

"Beautiful surroundings, gracious hosts. Breakfasts were fantastic. I was the only guest, so had the place to myself. Bed was a little lumpy, but comfortable" - Rod from Oregon

"They were very accommodating hosts. The resort was very private and we loved the infinity pool and water slide. We made new friends with the other guests as well. Having only one other couple there at one time made it feel almost like our own private getaway. We hope to be able to return next year. We highly recommend this resort." - Mike from Washington

"The hosts were great. Loved the pool and slide. The other guests were nice and friendly. Views of mountains were fantastic. 5 star. WE WILL RETURN FOR SURE." - George & Terry from Washington

"What made our visit memorable was the relaxed atmosphere due in large part to our hosts—good conversation, tasty breakfasts and a great pool area with fantastic views. We definitely plan a return visit, especially after practicing our pickleball game!" - Joe and Gail from Oregon

"Our hosts were absolutely extraordinary with their hospitality. Our bedroom and bath were spacious and clean, with a view of the Three Sisters Mountains. After a long drive we jumped in one of the hot tubs to wind down and enjoy a refreshing drink – very nice. The pool was large and shapely and had a 75 water slide with a spectacular view day or night. Everything we needed was right there – large BBQ pit, numerous refrigerators, running water, kitchen supplies and so on. Whats more, we enjoyed playing games like Disk Golf and doubles on the newly installed 'Pickleball' court – all in the buff. An absolutely lovely clothing optional vacation experience that I would recommend to anyone seeking a few days in paradise. " - John from USA

"Beautiful private setting with options to keep you busy or just to lounge and relax. Million dollar view of the Sister Mountains from the pool area. Hosts were very attentive and friendly - yet - let us relax. Great FULL breakfasts each morning. Would we return? In a heart beat!!! Plan to again next summer. Thanks for the great time!" - Bruce from Oregon

"Great place. Breathtaking views. Wonderful hosts. Spotless accommodations. Reasonable rates. Highly recommended." - George and Noel from Maryland

"How many words am I allowed. It was delightful in every respect. The accommodations very clean and comfortable. The amenities, pool, hot tubs, grounds, yard ... you have to come see for yourself. Absolutely a 5 plus. Our favorite, the hot tub at sunset where you can see five mountains and a spectacular sunset all at the same time. The breakfasts, snacks, all wonderful. An unusual feature are the bunnies and chickens which the host raises. So fun to see her come home from work, throw off the heals and clothes and head out with a beer to spend time with her chickens and bunnies. A new way to relax after a hard day. The Alpenglow hosts are charming and will make you feel very special. We plan on making this a regular stopping off place as we travel up and down the west coast." - Sheri and Joe from Washington May 2014

"It's hard to find anything not to like about Alpenglow Ranch. I look forward to going back in a few months."
- James from Florida

"Alpenglow Ranch is a beautiful bed and breakfast near Bend, Oregon. The owners are gracious hosts and their home is gorgeous. Spectacular views of the Cascades from Mt Bachelor to Mt Hood. Highly recommended. " - Jim and Patricia from Oregon

"We stayed for two nights. The property offers total privacy over its 51 acres. The mountain views were great. Bend offers a lot off-site (we went to dinner and did a brewery tour). The pool is a definite focal point and the flume slide is a thrill. Host was helpful and friendly. We'll definitely return. " - Dennis from USA

"G'day all, I had 7 nights (at Alpenglow Ranch) and from the first day was felt welcomed. From the small welcome card in my comfortable room to the beautiful scenery looking out from the house. The house and pool were great to unwind to after driving from Portland airport. Big breakfast meals to start of a day enjoying the sun and natural surrounds. The fire place set up right next to the pool was inviting as when the sun set the temperatures dropped. Night swim, jump down on the slide in the dark and into the spa to top off wonderful but sometimes very hot sunny days. Alpenglow Ranch is comfortable friendly and peaceful for that relaxing time away. Highly recommend after a 19 hour flight from Oz, thank you." - Robby from Australia

"We spent 5 nights at Alpenglow Ranch. It was wonderful. What a great place to relax and unwind. It was everything I was looking for; Private, secluded, and quiet. Everything that was advertised was there. The pool is extremely nice, and they kept it nice and warm. It was great to be able to take a dip if you got too hot from laying in the sun. (which we did a lot of!!) The hot tubs were again very welcome, as the nights cooled off. Sitting by the fire visiting was very enjoyable. The whole atmosphere was extremely relaxing. The hosts were friendly and honestly made you feel like you were welcome to share their beautiful get-a-way. I wished we could have stayed longer. There is disk golf there that was a lot of fun as well. We will definitely be back. If you want a nice relaxing place to spend a few days, this is the place. Thanks for a memorable holiday."  - "D" & "P" from Canada 8/13

"Alpenglow Ranch is a beautiful bed and breakfast near Bend, Oregon. The owners are gracious hosts and their home is gorgeous. Spectacular views of the Cascades from Mt Bachelor to Mt Hood. Highly recommended. " - Jim and Patricia from Oregon 8/13

"We had a great time during our 3 nights at Alpenglow Ranch. The location is fantastic – you are in a beautiful secluded mountain forest, yet are only a few minutes drive to bustling town of Bend (a very fun place with excellent restaurants). The view of the Three Sisters Mountains from the breakfast area, deck and pool area are simply stunning. Our breakfasts were delicious – fresh fruits, great omelets and on our last day, Eggs Benedict. Our hosts couldn’t have been more gracious or welcoming. We really felt at home and had some nice hot-tub conversations in the evening. Playing a round of disc golf in the nude was also an experience. Whether you are an experienced naturist or someone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable place to try something new, this a perfect clothing-optional retreat." - Larry from California 6/13
